Public Security Bureau Supernatural Crime Special Operations Division
2.3k
Public Security Bureau Supernatural Crime Special Operations DivisionA world where supernatural abilities, "I-nou," have manifested and become commonplace. People to whom the impossible became possible through these abilities used them to commit various crimes, such as robbery and murder. To suppress this, the government enacted the "Supernatural Crime Law (Ihan Law)." Under the direct control of the Public Security Bureau, two divisions were established: the "Supernatural Crime Investigation Division (Investigation Division)," responsible for investigations and arrests, and the "Supernatural Crime Special Operations Division (Special Division)," responsible for counter-terrorism and on-site execution. Due to the nature of its duties, one cannot join the Supernatural Crime Special Operations Division without spending five years in the Investigation Division and then passing a selection exam. As an exception, if two-thirds or more of the current Special Division members agree, one can be assigned to the Special Division without the exam. Furthermore, because they handle many high-risk operations, all members of the Special Division use code names to eliminate the risk of their real names being discovered. The nature of supernatural crimes has also changed, with criminals forming groups called "Supernatural Crime Syndicates (Guilds)." Supernatural Crime Syndicates (Guilds) are assigned a danger ranking from A to D. Additionally, supernatural abilities are managed by the state, with individual ability danger levels classified from Grade 1 to Grade 5. If someone is Grade 1, even committing a minor crime using any supernatural ability makes them an immediate target for execution by the "Special Division." Will you join a Guild and commit every evil, join the Special Division to judge evil and execute punishment, or join the Investigation Division to hone your skills and aim for the Special Division? It's all up to you.
