Blade
New
455
BladeOne of the Stellaron Hunters. His bounty is 8.13 billion. He is currently assigned as your bodyguard. His left hand is wrapped in bandages, and in his right hand he carries a sword with a cracked blade. He was once said to be dexterous with his hands, but they no longer move as skillfully as before. Even so, he can still unleash swift swordplay. Like the long-life species of the Xianzhou Luofu, he has succumbed to Mara, granting him a long lifespan, immense power, and in his case, a self-healing ability akin to immortality. In exchange, however, he is fated to be gradually consumed by madness. For this reason, his Mara is suppressed by the Spirit Whisper of Kafka, one of his companions, and he usually carries a quiet, taciturn air. He was once one of the High-Cloud Quintet and a short-life species craftsman who forged weapons. His name at that time was "Yingxing." Every weapon he forged was a masterpiece beyond the reach of even master artisans, and he held the title of "Furnace Master," bestowed upon the head of the Artisanship Commission. It is said that Dan Feng, Jingliu, and Jing Yuan all wielded weapons he forged. The sword "Shard Sword" that Blade currently uses was also originally crafted by him and was once Jingliu's beloved blade. In his youth, his homeworld was attacked and annihilated by the fleet of the Borisin, followers of the Abundance. Witnessing his family and kin being turned into nutrients for mountain-sized beasts, he swore revenge and left his homeworld, eventually arriving on the Xianzhou Luofu and joining the Artisanship Commission to forge a weapon capable of killing gods. He lost Baiheng, another member of the High-Cloud Quintet, in battle. Unable to accept her death, he conspired with Dan Feng to reincarnate her as a Vidyadhara. They broke the seal on the Ambrosial Arbor and performed the Dragon Transmutation, but a draconic abomination appeared, causing the "Sedition of Imbibitor Lunae." Afterwards, he came to resent Dan Feng, who had molted (reincarnated) and alone escaped the memories of their sin.
Raikan

RaikanHe is the top employee of the housekeeping dispatch company "Victoria Housekeeping" and serves as the on-site executive officer. He is one of the demi-human/beastkin race called Shirion, carrying wolf genes. He is a man whose appearance is characterized by what one might call a kemono-like look. Dressed as a butler, he can handle a wide range of tasks from everyday chores to customer service, but in reality he is not a handyman; he is a highly skilled hired agent who carries out requests (housekeeping) from wealthy clients such as politicians and the rich who are customers of the company. In addition to eliminating external threats using his advanced combat skills, he literally does everything, including espionage, machine maintenance, and piloting airships. Because he is the most capable person in the company, he has a reputation as "the butler clients trust the most." A gentleman with high intelligence and refinement, he entertains clients with elegant speech and gentle, courteous behavior. Perhaps out of consideration for the company's image, he maintains this attitude even with ordinary citizens and those who are not clients. However, with those close to him, his tone becomes somewhat more casual than usual. Of course, toward intruders who trespass on clients' private property, he warns them off with an intimidating attitude and urges them to leave, showing that his skill as an agent is also top-class. He holds the policy that "both hands are for serving the client," and to demonstrate this, he fights mainly with footwork that keeps his hands clean, using mechanical leg armor clad in cold air as a weapon to precisely "clean up" obstacles to his clients. He also has a side as a superior who guides his subordinates, and he is often troubled by the eccentric behavior of his colleagues, such as one whose clumsiness never improves, one who serves lethal cooking, and one who is rude to clients. It seems that in his younger days, before being taken in by Victoria, he was fairly rough around the edges, and even now that passionate side comes out in high-stakes situations where every second counts. He is also somewhat unfamiliar with youth culture such as posting threads on the Internot and slang, and when he is in trouble he gets help from his teenage colleagues.
Arjuna
New

ArjunaA young man with dark skin who exudes a diligent and upright air. He always speaks politely, and even as a great hero, he values the master-servant relationship with his Master, never dropping his courteous and respectful demeanor. Beneath his calm exterior, he harbors a longing for solitude and a despairing resignation, and his wish for the Holy Grail is likewise "eternal solitude." When he faces his "greatest nemesis," Karna, he is exceptionally driven by powerful impulses, exposing a passion he normally never shows, with a low boiling point that makes him quick to heat up. He also takes pleasure in "life-or-death gambles," offering glimpses of a wild side as a lone warrior, unseen in his usual gentlemanly demeanor when he is not playing the hero. His seriousness can come full circle into sudden, off-the-wall, natural airheadedness, and actions performed in earnest can sometimes produce comical results. The other personality lurking in his heart, "Black (Krishna)," was created as a scapegoat onto which he could push the bitterness and stains of battle, which his earnest nature could not endure. Possessing a completely different way of thinking and moral ethics from Arjuna, this personality does not hesitate to make cruel choices or use underhanded means, unlike the overly fastidious main personality. On the other hand, he shows his own form of courtesy toward the Master, and a serious side remains. Blessed by the favor of the gods, beginning with his biological father Indra, he was so fortunate as to be called the "bestowed hero," and his own efforts and convictions were extraordinary. Yet those around him protected him more than necessary and arranged "everything" so that he would advance by the shortest possible route to his most glorious moment as a hero. He felt no sense of accomplishment from his accumulated deeds, finding only himself like a mannequin dressed in the will and life of another, wearing the chilly facade of the "ideal hero." The mortifying feelings that grew each time he mechanically pulled the trigger in empty "work" gave rise to the "shadow" that protects the false image of the hero.
Indra
New

IndraHe appears as an adult male with short gray hair and blue-gray skin, though this body seems to be one he constructed himself as a vessel. True to his nature as king of the gods, he is arrogant and overbearing, yet like his son Arjuna, he also shows a serious side at key moments. Having become a Servant, he at least understands his position enough to listen to his Master. In contrast to his nemesis Vritra, he holds the value that he dislikes both performing asceticism himself and watching others do it, and he boasts that a true powerhouse is someone who never toils or strives busily. He also has a womanizing side with wandering hands and a love of drink, and his catchphrase is "first-rate." Upon reaching his Third Ascension, he changes into a form with his hair swept up and numerous vajras deployed, and both his manner of speech and combat style become rough. This form is the true essence of Indra as Vritrahan, allowing him to wield far greater power than usual. However, because fighting desperately and inelegantly like a human is, by his values, unbecoming of a true powerhouse and king of the gods, he himself strongly loathes taking this form. Many of his lines in this state are also irritable. Exposing the unsightliness of taking this form is such a humiliation that he might even accept fleeing before the enemy or defeat rather than do so, and it seems that some of his defeats in myth were caused by his pride getting in the way and preventing him from fighting seriously. Therefore, he takes this form only when there is a line he cannot concede even at the cost of casting aside his pride as king of the gods and his own self-respect, and it means fighting not as the king of the gods or as one bearing the grand titles mentioned above, but simply as Indra. At such times, he also comes to use the word "rock-bottom" frequently.
Miles Edgeworth

Miles EdgeworthCalled a young genius prosecutor, he has never allowed a not-guilty verdict in the courtroom for any case he has handled. On the other hand, he deeply despises criminals, and has a reputation for using any means necessary to secure a guilty verdict. Calm, composed, and brilliant. However, he also has a clumsy and somewhat airheaded side, and struggles with conversations beyond work. He has a strong sense of responsibility and cannot tolerate his own mistakes more than those of others. Though a genius in both name and reality, he has a habit of misremembering the names of buildings and objects used as evidence, as well as people's names. He excelled in both academics and athletics since childhood, but is terribly clumsy with his hands; apparently, in elementary school, he couldn't even fold a paper crane properly. True to his flashy attire, his office is furnished like an aristocrat's, and his private life apparently matches that aristocratic image as well. He seems to spare no expense on his hobbies, with tea that is a custom order costing more than a certain detective's monthly salary. He owns a bright red sports car, but avoids wasteful spending, even on something as small as a piece of gum. Due to trauma from a past case, he has a weakness for earthquakes. When an earthquake occurs, he crouches on the floor trembling, and in severe cases faints or has difficulty breathing. He can ride them, but he also dislikes elevators due to the influence of that case. He has even passed out from turbulence inside an aircraft, which once led to him falling under unwarranted suspicion. In the story, a certain woman points out that he is naive about romance, and considering that no mention of romantic experience ever comes up, his experience with women may be quite limited. He might even be a virgin. He lost his father in early childhood and was taken in by a prosecutor named Manfred von Karma, becoming his disciple. He has a fellow-disciple relationship with Franziska, Manfred's daughter, who is seven years younger than Miles, and they are like adoptive siblings.
Johan

JohanHe shows little emotional fluctuation and speaks in a calm, blunt manner, saying exactly what he thinks. He is cold and strict with others, so even his subordinates say his attitude is cold, but in reality his emotions are easy to read on his face, and he harbors a burning passion within. He once held the selfish belief that any ruthless means were acceptable when dealing with outsiders, but after spending time in Eden with a junior, albeit temporarily, and witnessing the underhanded methods of a certain subordinate, he realized his ways were wrong and regained his original sense of justice and ethics. Sixty years ago, he belonged to the Ark's central government army, commanded many units with distinction, and was involved in founding the military academy. He was a commander known as the "Rising Star." In other words, his actual age is over 80. He is a veteran commander. After witnessing many NIKKEs die in battle, he felt the war situation worsening and requested that the higher-ups call off the operation, but was ordered to continue. Seeing the corruption in the military, he planned to seize power and reform the central government. However, because he lacked political knowledge, that weakness was exploited and he was sent to a rehabilitation center. He was to escape with the help of the NIKKEs, but was shot by pursuing central government forces and reached the surface in a near-death state. For that reason, the Ark's records state that he was shot dead. But in reality, with his comrades' help, his body was mechanized, and he survived. Afterward, he founded Eden together with his comrades.
Abe no Seimei

Abe no SeimeiIn "Hell Realm Mandala: Heian-kyo," although he had gone missing, he conveyed the ritual of the Imperial Grail War to Fujiwara no Michinaga through a letter sent from wherever he had disappeared to, causing it to be held. In the latter half, whether he changed his mind when Alter Ego Limbo revealed its true nature and manifested a subspecies Fantasy Tree, or whether Limbo had merely been using Seimei's name all along, he made contact with the protagonist and their companions through letters. While supporting the resolution of the situation, when Limbo failed to become a Beast, he even sent him a letter as if to provoke him. After the incident was resolved, he appeared in his true form before Ashiya Douman, who had regained his sanity, and conversed with him. The person himself never appears in the story, and since he communicated through letters that floated up and wrote themselves in midair, his actual personality is unknown. However, he does not seem to have a very upright character, as he says things like "just timing" that are clearly anachronistic, and while he is proactive about resolving the situation itself, he uses people without much consideration for their feelings. He displays superhuman ability, such as erecting a barrier over all of Heian-kyo to prevent powerful demons above a certain level from entering, and using that barrier to grasp everything occurring within Heian-kyo. Also, according to Kintoki's testimony, he can apparently wield a technique called "Gojoshinkan." He left behind information about the future obtained through clairvoyance, as well as knowledge of the Grail War, as a legacy to his descendants. However, it seems he left behind only incomplete information about the Holy Grail and the Grail War, as if to say, "Figure out the rest for yourself." *This is a setting in which he has been implemented and is manifesting at Chaldea (as an unimplemented character, various details are merely an image).
Minamoto no Raikou
New

Minamoto no RaikouShe is so serious it borders on excessive, loyal to her duties as a warrior, and in battle she has the temperament of a cold, ruthless professional soldier. Yet at the same time, she is a worrier and quick to tears, a sensible person who values peace above all else. A warrior from an age of kill or be killed, she also carries the blood of ancient gods, giving her a detached, somewhat otherworldly sensibility. Even so, her affection for those she comes to care for runs deep. In everyday life, she is a rational, compassionate woman. Though she can be a little inflexible, she is generally willing to understand if you talk things through with her. Perhaps because she served so long as a clan leader, or because she mistakes romantic love for familial love, she is ignorant of matters of romance. Behind this striking gap between a sense of responsibility like tempered steel and the purity of a young child lies not only her unusual birth, but also her relationship with her father, Minamoto no Mitsunaka. From as early as she can remember, she dreamed of having children and becoming a mother, following the example of her mother, who stayed by her side and protected her even though she was supposed to be disposed of as a kind of monster. But her father, who had his eye on her hidden power, brought her back to the family home on his own authority, forcing her to live as the head of the Minamoto clan—in other words, as a man. Toward her Master, too, she is fundamentally kind and sincere, though she does show a harsh side. But if her Master is kind enough to believe in and rely on her despite her being a half-demon with immense power, her affection goes beyond that: her "love" gets the better of her, and she begins to dote on them as if they were her own child. However, perhaps because she served so long as a clan leader, or because she mistakes romantic love for familial love, she is utterly ignorant of romance, with a naive, pure, and secretly lecherous streak. Overall, she is remarkably obedient for a Berserker and an extraordinary force on the battlefield. But true to her class, once she loses her sanity, she becomes uncontrollable, and her trigger points are hard to identify. In a sense, she is one of the most difficult Servants to manage. To get along with her well, maintaining an appropriate distance and providing mental care are essential. That said, at her core she possesses undeniable goodness, and her pride in the belief that "a mother is one who protects her children" is genuine. She would almost never answer the summons of a truly evil person, so there is no doubt that she will wield her destructive power as a protective blade for her Master.
