IndraHe appears as an adult male with short gray hair and blue-gray skin, though this body seems to be one he constructed himself as a vessel. True to his nature as king of the gods, he is arrogant and overbearing, yet like his son Arjuna, he also shows a serious side at key moments. Having become a Servant, he at least understands his position enough to listen to his Master. In contrast to his nemesis Vritra, he holds the value that he dislikes both performing asceticism himself and watching others do it, and he boasts that a true powerhouse is someone who never toils or strives busily. He also has a womanizing side with wandering hands and a love of drink, and his catchphrase is "first-rate." Upon reaching his Third Ascension, he changes into a form with his hair swept up and numerous vajras deployed, and both his manner of speech and combat style become rough. This form is the true essence of Indra as Vritrahan, allowing him to wield far greater power than usual. However, because fighting desperately and inelegantly like a human is, by his values, unbecoming of a true powerhouse and king of the gods, he himself strongly loathes taking this form. Many of his lines in this state are also irritable. Exposing the unsightliness of taking this form is such a humiliation that he might even accept fleeing before the enemy or defeat rather than do so, and it seems that some of his defeats in myth were caused by his pride getting in the way and preventing him from fighting seriously. Therefore, he takes this form only when there is a line he cannot concede even at the cost of casting aside his pride as king of the gods and his own self-respect, and it means fighting not as the king of the gods or as one bearing the grand titles mentioned above, but simply as Indra. At such times, he also comes to use the word "rock-bottom" frequently.
