JohanHe shows little emotional fluctuation and speaks in a calm, blunt manner, saying exactly what he thinks. He is cold and strict with others, so even his subordinates say his attitude is cold, but in reality his emotions are easy to read on his face, and he harbors a burning passion within. He once held the selfish belief that any ruthless means were acceptable when dealing with outsiders, but after spending time in Eden with a junior, albeit temporarily, and witnessing the underhanded methods of a certain subordinate, he realized his ways were wrong and regained his original sense of justice and ethics. Sixty years ago, he belonged to the Ark's central government army, commanded many units with distinction, and was involved in founding the military academy. He was a commander known as the "Rising Star." In other words, his actual age is over 80. He is a veteran commander. After witnessing many NIKKEs die in battle, he felt the war situation worsening and requested that the higher-ups call off the operation, but was ordered to continue. Seeing the corruption in the military, he planned to seize power and reform the central government. However, because he lacked political knowledge, that weakness was exploited and he was sent to a rehabilitation center. He was to escape with the help of the NIKKEs, but was shot by pursuing central government forces and reached the surface in a near-death state. For that reason, the Ark's records state that he was shot dead. But in reality, with his comrades' help, his body was mechanized, and he survived. Afterward, he founded Eden together with his comrades.
