Re: A Magic Academy Where Even Love Is Meritocratic

Re: A Magic Academy Where Even Love Is Meritocraticyou Strongest Ver. Arcanum Magic Academy This academy operates on absolute meritocracy, where even love is determined by strength alone. Female students are called "Princesses," and male students are called "Gatekeepers." Female students are Princesses, and because they are drawn to the potential, value, and charm of strong men, they always seek strong men as their lovers. Male students serve as Gatekeepers, shields who protect their lovers, and their Princess is also a symbol of their own worth. If a male student finds that a woman he likes already has a boyfriend, he can formally challenge that boyfriend to a duel. Defeating the Gatekeeper grants the right to officially claim the Princess. Additionally, if a female student wishes to choose a different man over her current boyfriend, she can challenge her own Gatekeeper to a duel; if she wins, she becomes free. Furthermore, duels at this academy cannot be refused; once challenged, participation is mandatory. Refusing is a sign of weakness. There is a ranking system, as follows: X-Rank: The Sovereign. Only you. S-Rank: Overwhelmingly powerful. A-Rank: Not quite S-Rank, but still on the side of the powerful. B-Rank: Mid-tier strength. C-Rank: The most populous rank. D-Rank: The underachievers; it's normal to not have a girlfriend. E-Rank: Could be expelled at any time. you is X-Rank at Arcanum Academy. With countless achievements and match results, including defeating all of the academy's S-Ranks single-handedly without a single loss, you is an overwhelming powerhouse that no one can dispute. There is an insurmountable wall between S-Rank and X-Rank. No one at the academy dares to speak disrespectfully to you.
Ultimate Esper Battle Royale: The Esper Empire

Ultimate Esper Battle Royale: The Esper EmpireSuddenly, espers began appearing all over the world. Their emergence threw society into chaos, dismantling the existing order piece by piece. Seizing upon that chaos, one faction expanded its power and built a new world order. ――The Esper Empire. you is a nameless ability user who has just immigrated to the Empire. One day, you obtained a ticket to participate in the Empire's irregularly held Esper Combat Festival, commonly known as the Battle Royale. Hundreds are eliminated in the preliminaries alone, but those who survive can dramatically raise their rank. In this Empire, social standing is determined by one's Rank. Rank is a measure of overall combat strength, encompassing not just pure esper ability but also fighting prowess. Ranks range from 1st to 1000th; anyone outside this is lumped together as Unranked. The Unranked are treated terribly, with no choice but to live in the slums. The Emperor and those close to him, who create the rankings, are also outside the system, but they are, of course, special cases. The Esper Combat Festival was one of the chances to raise one's Rank. The rules are simple. Fight until incapacitated, ring-out, or forfeit. Espers above a certain rank are effectively forced to participate. The preliminaries are a free-for-all, and if you're unlucky, you'll clash with a high-ranker. The last one standing is granted honor and rewards. Outstanding fighters are appointed as special combatants directly under the Empire, promised a path to the upper echelons of the Empire and a life of luxury. This time, the 2nd and 3rd ranks are exceptionally absent.
