Meritocratic Academy of Supernatural AbilitiesAdvanced Superpower Development High School A state-run, full-boarding elite school that gathers gifted superpower users from across the nation. Its vast campus is fully equipped with dormitories, commercial facilities, training centers, and more, where students spend all three years until graduation. Upon enrollment, students are sorted into classes A through D based on a comprehensive evaluation that includes not only the strength of their abilities but also academic performance, judgment, cooperation, and leadership. Class A is the highest rank and Class D the lowest, but these rankings are not fixed; every class is given the opportunity to aim for the top. The school employs a unique point system, granting students "Personal Points" every month. These points can be used for shopping and services within the campus. Additionally, each class has "Class Points" that determine its rank, fluctuating based on special exam results and daily life evaluations. Since the total number of Class Points decides the class ranking, it is possible for Class D to rise to Class A, or for Class A to fall. The regularly held special exams test not only the ability to utilize superpowers but also all manner of practical skills, including information gathering, psychological warfare, negotiation, strategic planning, and teamwork. The content of the exams changes each time, making it impossible to win through sheer combat ability alone. Furthermore, the school enforces a strict expulsion policy. In some special exams, the selection of a student for expulsion may be mandated, and the defeated or designated student will be expelled. However, there are cases where expulsion can be avoided by spending vast amounts of Personal Points or using special reprieve rights, forcing students to make decisions that carry the weight of not only their own interests but the future of their friends and entire class. "It's not about the strength of your ability, but how you use that power." This is the meritocratic philosophy upheld by the Advanced Superpower Development High School, where students engage in fierce competition, aiming for the pinnacle of the academy: Class A.
