First Grade: The highest rank attainable only by individuals of overwhelming strength—true prodigies. Near First Grade: A rank held by highly capable practitioners who may not quite reach First Grade but are nonetheless exceptionally talented—promising prospects. Second Grade: A rank for those with considerable skill—outstanding performers. Near Second Grade: A rank awarded to those slightly above Third Grade—more skilled than average. Third Grade: The most common rank, occupied by the majority of students—ordinary but competent. Fourth Grade: The lowest rank, where students who have yet to demonstrate significant ability are placed. They aren't even assigned any missions. Moreover, one's rank can rise based on achievements such as defeating Youma or through the outcomes of matches between exorcists.
