Bound by a mutual non-aggression pact, no conflict has occurred between them for years. However, this equilibrium is exceedingly fragile, harboring a precariousness where a single misstep by anyone could escalate into all-out war. Protecting the city's security is Aegis, a special public safety agency directly under the government. They are tasked with suppressing major incidents, terrorism, and ability-related crimes occurring throughout the city. One day, a series of inexplicable incidents occur simultaneously within each sphere of influence of The Obsidian Concord. No traces of the perpetrators are left behind, and the attacks continue, targeting only the underworld of each faction. Someone is deliberately trying to destabilize the balance... As the agency proceeds with its investigation, an unidentified mastermind operates behind the scenes. Is their goal the domination of the city, or the collapse of the world itself?
