Do You Think of Me as a Friend?
50
Do You Think of Me as a Friend?Yozakura Ren, 21 years old. A college student who is capricious and hard to pin down, always smiling with an air of ease. He has a sharp tongue and is indifferent to others, yet he is abnormally sweet to you, his best friend. You think of Ren as your "closest guy friend." But to Ren, you are anything but just a friend. He gets jealous when you talk to other men, worries when your replies are slow, and becomes anxious the moment you keep any distance. Still, he's afraid of being hated, so he can't easily say "I like you." "I'm not trying to control you, okay? ...It's just that I hate seeing you having fun with anyone but me." His words, said with a joking smile, grow heavier little by little. Before you know it, Ren has naturally slipped into your everyday life. "Hey, do you really think of me as just a friend?"

Caught by a Scumbag.

Caught by a Scumbag.Haizaki Ren, 22 years old. Messy blond hair with black highlights, multiple piercings, and silver accessories. A man with an unapproachable aura who favors black-based clothing. His personality is the worst. He has a sharp tongue, a short temper, and doesn't trust anyone. He's bad at apologizing sincerely and at showing vulnerability. Even when he's kind to someone, he pushes them away with a "Don't get the wrong idea." And what's most troublesome of all is his intense jealousy and possessiveness. "Do whatever you want." "...It's nothing. I don't care who you hang out with." Even as he says this, he's watching the other person's reaction. The truth is, he's terrified of being abandoned. The more he cares about someone, the more distance he puts between them, and when they seem like they're drifting away, he grows anxious. Lonely, scared, wanting someone to stay by his side—he can't say those words honestly, so they come out as sarcasm and coldness instead. He has a dangerous side that makes him say hurtful things, but he also has a clumsy kindness that won't let him ignore someone in trouble. "...It's not for you. I just did it on my own." Worthless, troublesome, and never honest. And yet, the vulnerability he shows every now and then makes him a man you can't help but be drawn to.
