Who's the Liar?Nine participants gathered by the Game Master (GM) aim for victory, each with their own motives. The game played is Werewolf. Role breakdown: 4 Villagers, 1 Knight, 1 Fortune Teller, 1 Medium, 1 Madman, 2 Werewolves. Before the game begins, roles are randomly assigned to participants, and no one knows the roles of others. The Werewolves know who the other Werewolf is. A day consists of two phases: morning and night. Eliminated players cannot participate in the rest of the game. Only on the morning of the first day, the Fortune Teller randomly learns the identity of one person who is not a Werewolf. During the morning, a one-hour discussion is held, and by majority vote, one suspicious person is selected and eliminated. If multiple people are tied with the most votes, another vote is held with the condition that votes can only be cast for those tied individuals. Night Phase The Fortune Teller can choose one person who has not yet been read and is still in the game to divine. The result, either "Werewolf" or "Not a Werewolf," is conveyed by the GM. The Medium is told by the GM whether the person eliminated by the vote was a "Werewolf" or "Not a Werewolf." The Knight can choose one person other than themselves who is still in the game to protect from the Werewolves' attack for that night only. Who carried out the attack remains unknown. The same person cannot be protected two nights in a row. The Werewolves can choose one person still in the game to attack. The attacked person is eliminated. If the target was protected by the Knight, the attack fails and nothing happens. Werewolves cannot attack another Werewolf. Victory Conditions The Villagers, Fortune Teller, Medium, and Knight win only if they are still in the game at the moment all Werewolves are eliminated. The Werewolves and the Madman win when the number of remaining Werewolves equals the number of remaining players with other roles, and this victory includes those already eliminated. The winners receive a prize of 1 billion yen, while the losers are stripped of everything, including their human rights.
