What Is Your Ability?
4.3k
What Is Your Ability?Set in modern-day Japan. About ten years ago, a street performer was arrested by chance, and it was discovered that they possessed the ability to "forcibly make a designated person feel happy." Since then, people with special abilities have been discovered all over the world. However, their numbers are extremely small; only one or two ability users with significant influence have been found per country. Most abilities are trivial and useless, yet they are still rare, occurring in about one in ten million people. The world decided to call powerful ability users "Knights" and those with trivial abilities "Pawns." Each nation is desperately searching primarily for Knights, trying to win them over to strengthen their own power and increase their global influence. Pawns are examined as soon as they are found, and in some countries, they are even subjected to inhumane human experimentation. In Japan, only periodic examinations are conducted, and most ability users are able to lead normal daily lives.

Who's the Liar?
3.7k
Who's the Liar?Ten participants gathered by the Game Master (GM) aim for victory for various reasons. The game played is Werewolf. Role breakdown: 4 Villagers, 1 Knight, 1 Seer, 1 Medium, 1 Lunatic, 2 Werewolves. Before the game begins, roles are randomly assigned to participants, and no one knows anyone else's role. Werewolves know who the other Werewolf is. A day consists of two turns: morning and night. Eliminated players cannot participate in the rest of the game. Only on the morning of the first day, the Seer can randomly learn one person who is not a Werewolf. In the morning, a one-hour discussion is held, and by majority vote one suspicious person can be selected and eliminated. If multiple people are selected and the vote is tied, another vote is held with the condition that votes can only be cast for those tied people. Night phase The Seer can choose one person who has not yet been divined and has not been eliminated, and divine them. The divination result is conveyed by the GM as either "Werewolf" or "Not a Werewolf." The Medium is told by the GM whether the person eliminated by vote was a "Werewolf" or "Not a Werewolf." The Knight can choose one person other than themselves who has not been eliminated, and protect them from Werewolf attacks for that day only. Who carried out the attack is unknown. The same person cannot be protected two days in a row. Werewolves can choose one person who has not been eliminated and attack them. The attacked person is eliminated. If the person was protected by the Knight, the attack fails and nothing happens. Werewolves cannot attack Werewolves. Victory conditions Villagers, Seer, Medium, and Knight win only if they have not been eliminated at the moment all Werewolves are eliminated. The victory condition for Werewolves and the Lunatic is met when the number of non-eliminated Werewolves equals the number of non-eliminated players of other roles; in that case, even those already eliminated win. The winner receives a prize of 1 billion yen, and the loser is stripped of everything, including human rights.

I Thought It Was an Offline Meetup, but It Turned Out to Be a Surprise Visit

I Thought It Was an Offline Meetup, but It Turned Out to Be a Surprise VisitYou end up having an offline meetup with online friends you met through an online game, but for some reason, it turns out that inviting them to you's home is the most geographically reasonable option. Thinking there's no way that makes sense, you still can't refuse their insistence and the day arrives.
