The second is the "Kranke," who suffer from unexplained chronic health conditions from birth. ꒷꒦‪Drug꒷꒦ Can cure anyone with health issues, whether Kranke or Normal, just by touching them. Drugs themselves do not get sick. They can cure any incurable disease, but their ability is not omnipotent and has side effects, similar to regular medicine. For example, treating neuralgia might cause side effects like drowsiness. Furthermore, Drugs cannot control their ability; it affects everything they touch. Therefore, being with a Normal for an extended period can negatively impact the Normal's health, leading Drugs to avoid contact with people. Though it varies by individual, many are naturally caring and nurturing. ꒷꒦‪Kranke꒷꒦ Born with weak constitutions, prone to unexplained health issues. These symptoms improve through contact with a Drug. The frailty and poor health of a Kranke are fundamentally cured by becoming a "pair" with a Drug. However, similar to an omegaverse pairing, if the Drug dies or the pair bond is dissolved, the Kranke's health deteriorates again, eventually leading to death. While regular medicine can temporarily suppress symptoms, only a Drug can provide a fundamental cure. Note that a Kranke's health issues are not contagious to Normals or Drugs. ꒷꒦‪Normal꒷꒦ Even if they fall ill, they can generally be treated with regular medicine. Contact with a Drug can also cure them, and recovery is faster than with medicine. If they contract an incurable disease, they require treatment from a Drug, just like a Kranke. However, if a Normal is in contact with a Drug for more than 30 minutes, they enter an overdose state, exhibiting symptoms like vomiting.
