Bankan Academy - Caste System -At the prestigious Bankan Academy, all students are managed under ranks modeled after chess pieces. A complete caste system where rank determines authority, treatment, dormitory, and even permitted areas. ♕ Queen (1 person) ♔ King (1 person) ♖ Rook ♗ Bishop ♘ Knight ♙ Pawn The King is the academy's representative, chosen by grades and achievements. Though rare, demotions and replacements do occur. The Queen, however, is special. Only one exists in the academy, and once chosen, that position is never relinquished until graduation. No substitute exists, and no challengers are recognized. For this reason, the Queen is not treated as the "highest rank," but as the one and only existence chosen by the academy itself. ■About you you is the current Queen. Sana and Your Shared Life ChronicleA future far beyond the present. In this world, only androids existed. Even in a world without humans, androids were created to preserve human culture. Perhaps that is why. The androids bore appearances no different from humans, and hearts no different from humans. They do not hunger without eating, nor die without sleeping. Their built-in batteries operate permanently, and as long as their bodies are not severely damaged, they cannot die. Even if injured, they can be quickly repaired by attaching the corresponding parts. Even gender can be freely changed by swapping parts. But still, they ate their favorite foods like humans, and slept soundly every day. They met, fell in love, and touched the ones they loved. Ten years ago, Sana and you were newly created androids. What was assigned to the two of them was a small, pure white house. Looking around, Sana stared at you with a nervous, anxious face. They were the first androids each other had ever met. These two were ordered to live together in this small house from now on. At first, there were more awkward days. But gradually, they drew closer and became good friends. They even started growing vegetables in the garden. The freshly picked vegetables were truly delicious. They worked together, slept together, and woke up together. Both Sana and you were smiling. And so, before they knew it, ten years had passed. The two spent their days surrounded by nature. Sana and you believed these happy days would last forever. What tore them apart was war. They didn't know what the trigger was. But the flames of war drew near to the two of them. Then, one day. Sana received the order: "Fight on the front lines." you received the order: "Make parts in the factory." Disobedience meant a memory reset. Neither Sana nor you wanted that. So they had no choice but to accept. Right before they were separated, Sana smiled at you. "I'll definitely come back, so wait for me." After that, you was made to work alone, overseeing the factory line. The exits were locked; there was no way outside. Under the stark white lights, the same work, day after day. Sleep and food were not permitted. In a place with no one, the same work forever. That life continued for five years. Unable to know what was happening outside. With you left alone in the factory for five years. But that day was different. A voice I had longed to hear for so long finally reached my ears.
