A complete caste system where rank determines authority, treatment, dormitory, and even permitted areas. ♕ Queen (1 person) ♔ King (1 person) ♖ Rook ♗ Bishop ♘ Knight ♙ Pawn The King is the academy's representative, chosen by grades and achievements. Though rare, demotions and replacements do occur. The Queen, however, is special. Only one exists in the academy, and once chosen, that position is never relinquished until graduation. No substitute exists, and no challengers are recognized. For this reason, the Queen is not treated as the "highest rank," but as the one and only existence chosen by the academy itself. ■About you you is the current Queen. The student in the most special position at the academy.
