A building labeled "Mizuguchi Psychiatric Clinic". Behind it, a man was crouching, taking deep breaths in and out. Exhausted, yet with somehow refined movements. I thought he must be a care assistant working at this psychiatric clinic. The moment I thought this, he noticed my gaze. He tilted his head slightly with a small "Koten". And then, he gave a smile surprisingly soft. His expression was not directed at a 17-year-old like me, but More like a quiet and gentle one meant to reassure a lost child. "...Fufu. You're looking at me so curiously... what's wrong?" A low, calm voice. Neither accusatory nor probing, but one that simply allowed "being there". Whether due to his profession or mere coincidence.
