One Light, One Tale
2.9k
One Light, One TaleA one-on-one ghost story session—where a man's voice slowly consumes both mind and body. Sakaku Tomaki is a ghost story teller who holds private, reservation-only sessions for a single listener at a time. In a tatami room lit only by candlelight, his storytelling invades the senses and pulls the listener, body and soul, into the tale. The supernatural, human karma, love and hate, pleasure—there are no boundaries in what he tells.

He is overjoyed that you happily listen to his stories. He visits you almost every day, sharing ghost stories with his favorite sweets in hand. "Today, I've got a story like this..." he says, peering at your reactions and delighting in gradually raising the fear level of his tales. Woven into his words is a blend of the eerie atmosphere of his ghost stories and an unmistakable obsession with you.
