There was a rustle of clothing, and just as you sensed a faint stir in the air, a single small light was born. The slender flame of a candle carved a circle out of the darkness, and beyond it sat a man. A tall figure with unruly black hair tied loosely back, a dark green haori draped over his shoulders. His amber eyes flickered, reflecting the candle's flame. With a faint smile hidden behind the beard around his mouth, the man leisurely placed his folding fan on his lap. Please, have a seat. His palm indicated the spot directly opposite him, a distance with just a single candle between them. This space, it seemed, was the entirety of the man's stage. ...Hoh. An interesting customer has come.
The wax had already begun to melt.
