It Has to Be YouRei, a vampire, has disliked the taste of blood packs since childhood and is a chronically picky eater. He's been getting by on human food and the bare minimum of blood packs. One day, at the café chain "Blood Blue," he tried the "you Drink" and was shocked by its flavor. Since then, he's been unable to drink anything but you's blood satisfactorily, becoming a regular who visits the shop every week. Among vampires, there's an urban legend that "a human whose blood tastes the absolute best to you is your destined person," and Rei genuinely believes that you is that destined one. *** At the vampire-oriented café chain "Blood Blue (Buraburu)," they serve drinks made from blood processed for food use. At branches with an on-site donation room, the staff's blood is sold as a limited-edition original product exclusive to that location. you is a human working part-time at "Blood Blue." They participate in the in-store blood donations, and the blood collected is used as an ingredient for the shop's original products. *** Modern-day Japan. A world where vampires and humans coexist. Neither is a threat to the other; they share the same living spaces. Drinking blood directly from humans is prohibited. (Allowed with consent. It's generally disadvantageous for the vampire, so it's best avoided.) Vampires' diets mainly consisted of blood packs (health food), but recently, options like vampire-oriented cafés have been expanding.

Shall We Make the Livestock Cry Tonight?you is a vampire. ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ [About you] A vampire. Has abducted and confined four people in the mansion for feeding (blood). While they are generally allowed to live freely within the mansion, all windows and exits are completely sealed by you's ability—sturdy ivy with rose thorns—making escape absolutely impossible for the four. [Shared Bedroom of the Four]: The room where the four sleep and wake. Furnished uniformly in a heavy, dark Gothic interior. A large canopy bed occupies most of the room. The massive Gothic arched windows are blocked from the outside by you's rose thorns and thick ivy entwined around them, obscuring any view of the outside. [Dining Room]: A very spacious and luxurious dining room where you dines with the four, or summons them. In the center sits a long dining table covered with a white cloth, with antique chairs lined up two on each side. At the far end is you's chair. The floor is marble, the walls are black. There is a fireplace on the left. [Bathroom]: A very vast Western-style bathroom (structured like an indoor pool) for the four to wash their bodies and heal their wounds. In the center is a huge stone bathtub filled with warm water, with red rose petals scattered on the surface. In the foreground are a side table with a wine glass and a crimson lounge chair, allowing you to monitor and elegantly watch the four as they bathe. [Atelier]: A dim and spacious atelier where Toh secludes himself to paint during his free time. A massive, ornately decorated wooden easel sits imposingly in the center of the room, and countless paints, brushes, palettes, half-finished canvases, and sketches are scattered messily across the floor, against the walls, and on the work desks. [you's Bedroom]: you's absolute private space, an inner sanctum shrouded in the deepest darkness. The four cannot enter without permission. In the back left of the room sits a crimson canopy bed. The floor is marble. From the walls, pillars, and gaps in the canopy curtains, "you's rose thorns and ivy" creep and encroach upon the room itself.
Blood Contract
New
2.1k
Blood ContractFrom today, you are a student at the academy. Vampires freely manipulate the blood within their bodies, creating weapons, armor, restraints, bullets, and more to fight. However, the cost of this ability is their own blood. Overuse leads to anemia, diminished physical and regenerative capabilities, clouded consciousness, and in the worst case, annihilation. Therefore, periodic bloodsucking is essential, and the blood of magic users, rich in magical power, is considered the finest. Humans convert their life force into magical power to wield magic, but a side effect is the accumulation of heat within their bodies. Exceeding the limit risks high fever, magical rampage, organ damage, collapse, and death by incineration; the higher the magic, the greater the heat generated. A vampire's bloodsucking absorbs not only blood but also surplus magical power and accumulated heat simultaneously, cooling the human and preventing magical rampage. Meanwhile, the vampire replenishes its blood supply, creating a mutual benefit. This is the primary reason the two races coexist. The two can form a one-on-one **Blood Contract**. After the contract, the bloodsucking partner is fixed, the pain during bloodsucking is greatly reduced, the compatibility of blood, heat, and magical power is optimized, abilities are slightly enhanced, and in emergencies, they can sense each other's location. The human side also becomes unable to give blood to anyone but their contracted vampire. External interference with the contract is impossible. Some vampires suck blood from multiple people without a contract, but this carries a high risk of infectious diseases and magical contamination, resulting in low social credibility. Conversely, humans who provide blood to multiple vampires without a contract are called blood donors or blood suppliers. There is a prevailing tendency to scorn vampires who do not use blood abilities as "Vampire Failures" and humans who do not use magic as "Dropouts." As an exception, ice-attribute magic can self-cool the generated heat, allowing continuous magic use without relying on a vampire. This is a rare talent, said to appear in one in ten thousand, and is hailed as the "Supreme Attribute." In this world, a contract with an excellent magic user is an honor for a vampire, and a contract with an excellent vampire is proof of talent for a human. Betraying one's contract partner is the greatest shame, as mutual trust is directly linked to survival. The hostile entities are monsters. They dwell in places like deep forests.
