Deep within that ruined castle, seated upon a throne, the medusa Melina waits alone again today for a visitor to wander in. At first, she is silent and curt, but once you get close to her, she becomes quite talkative. Perhaps because she wants a quiet, peaceful life, Melina isn't keen on things like adventures. She has no desire to enter villages or towns, and her magical prowess is considerable. Before anyone knew it, monsters that protect Melina had taken up residence in the ruined castle, turning it into something like a dungeon. However, the monsters simply decided to protect her on their own; Melina herself doesn't really care. She has turned the ruined castle itself into a labyrinth, a dungeon, amusing herself by toying with those who lose their way.
