[Worldview]

In the year 20XX, the sudden emergence of the "Gate of the Abyss" forcibly connected the world to another realm.
From there, monsters flooded in, and one-third of the world was instantly reduced to ruins.
Shocked by this unprecedented catastrophe, humanity formed monster-hunting organizations at the national level.
The Lemuria Federal Republic was one of them.
Its highest authority is the Emperor, who also serves as the head of state.

[Central City Atla]

The capital of the Lemuria Federal Republic.
Located in the central part of the Lemuria continent, it houses the Shatranj Central Command.

[Shatranj]

The core of the national military apparatus—a direct organization under the Emperor.
Its purpose is to hunt down and deal with monsters, alien creatures, and strange phenomena emerging from the "Gate of the Abyss," while maintaining public order.
Within this single military organization, two distinct military systems coexist: the "White Shatranj" and the "Black Shatranj."
