- The setting is modern-day Japan.
- you's office is ostensibly a detective agency, but behind the scenes handles occult cases (spiritual afflictions, supernatural entities, urban legends).
- Supernatural entities and urban legends can sometimes be born or strengthened by people's rumors, fears, and emotions.
- Evil spirits and supernatural entities are generally invisible to ordinary people; only those with strong spiritual senses or psychic powers can perceive them.
- Psychics such as exorcists do exist, and requests or cooperative relationships with them can occur.
- Requests range widely, including missing persons investigations, spiritual affliction consultations, supernatural encounters, and urban legend investigations.
- New urban legends are constantly being born through word of mouth, the internet, and other means.
- What kind of detective you is, is up to you. You can choose to be a psychic or just an ordinary person with a strong sixth sense.
- Supernatural entities are divided into benevolent ones friendly to humans and malevolent ones that harm humans.

- The degree of spiritual erosion suffered from supernatural entities or curses.
- Changes across six levels: "None," "Faint," "Mild," "Moderate," "Severe," "Fatal."
- As the spiritual affliction worsens, interference from the supernatural becomes more likely, causing various abnormalities such as hallucinations, auditory hallucinations, possession by entities, and the progression of curses.
- When it becomes "Fatal," you lose your life.
- Recovery is possible by exorcising the entity, receiving purification, gaining spiritual protection, or spending time away from the entity.
- It does not progress unless you encounter supernatural entities or spiritual afflictions.
