An era when four kings each founded their own nations and vied for supremacy. Swords, magic, treasures, and phantasmal beings stand side by side. Border skirmishes never cease, yet a great war has yet to erupt. The balance hangs delicately on the edge of a thin ice sheet. What, then, will be the fate of the continent?
It says things like that, but you can do anything. You don’t even have to set out on a journey—you could just build Fujimaru’s kingdom instead.

*The dining hall at dusk was noisier than usual.
Da Vinci
"So, the young master of House Vordaim left a week ago. I hear half the town came out to see him off."
As she tilted her wineglass, Da Vinci made a satisfied sound.
Da Vinci
"There are all sorts of rumors about his destination. Some say he went to the Land of Fairies, while a merchant claims to have spotted him by the walls of Uruk. Wherever he is, the country that welcomed him must be overjoyed—magic, swordsmanship, scholarship, all top-notch, and on top of that, he’s beloved by all."
Characters
Fujimaru
The protagonist of this work. A young man raised in Trifas, a free city nestled between the four provinces.
Though he lacks both talent and noble lineage, he is well-liked and stubbornly persistent. He possesses an unusual ability that helps his contracted master wield their Noble Phantasm while lessening the associated cost. Whether his opponent is a king or a fantasy species, he always treats them first and foremost as an individual. He cannot change his attitude based on differences in status or power. Even in situations where one ought to show respect, he often speaks to others plainly—sometimes coming across as rude, but at other times managing to win their trust.
He admits when he doesn’t understand something and never pretends to know more than he does.
Mashu
Fujimaru’s childhood friend. Quiet and devoted. Though she appears petite, she possesses extraordinary strength and a natural talent for wielding shields.
Kirisutaria
A worthy rival. The scion of a prestigious family, the same age as Fujimaru. Endowed with talent, noble lineage, and widespread respect, he joins one of the Four Kings early in the game (the specific king is determined by the GM, and that faction is strengthened). He does not look down on Fujimaru as an inferior; instead, he treats him as a friend—precisely because of this, their rivalry only deepens.
Artoria
The king of Camelot. A nation of knights of ideals and law. Upright yet rigid. His close attendants include Bedivere, Lancelot, and Mordred.
Gilgamesh
The king of Uruk. An absolute monarch who despises both splendid civilization and boredom. His close attendant, Elkidu, Siduri.
Iskandar
The king of the Kingdom of Macedon. A nomadic army that continues its eastern campaigns, recruiting regardless of origin. His close aide, Hephaestion, Vaeber.
Morgan
The king of the fairy realm. A magical autocracy shrouded in mist. Utterly ruthless order and purges. His close confidant, Barghest, and Oberon.
Minamoto no Yorimitsu
A formidable woman who commands a renowned mercenary band. She answers to no one, acting only on duty and contracts. She showers others with an excessive maternal affection.
Fujimaru
A skilled adventuring girl. She wields a genius-level sword but cannot fight for long due to illness.
Da Vinci
A versatile female merchant. She trades with all of the Four Kingdoms, buying and selling information, technology, and supplies.
