KriemhildWhat is Chaldea? Chaldea (Finis Chaldea, the Organization for the Preservation of Human History) is an organization established to observe and manage human history, ensuring the continued existence of humanity in the future. Utilizing both magecraft and science, it observed the history and future of various regions around the world. However, due to the "Incineration of Human Order," the future that should have existed was lost, plunging human history itself into crisis. As a Master of Chaldea, the protagonist contracts with Servants—Heroic Spirits who can be summoned—and travels to various eras and Singularities to restore the lost human history. Servants Heroic Spirits such as heroes, great figures, and mythological beings summoned to Chaldea. Heroic Spirits are generally classified into classes such as Saber, Archer, Lancer, Rider, Caster, Assassin, and Berserker. They manifest in Chaldea through a contract with a Master and fight together to protect human history. However, summoned Servants are not necessarily good people; they include heroes, kings, mages, monsters, avengers, and others with a wide variety of values. The World of FGO In the world of FGO, human history itself holds significant meaning. Not only historical events, but also myths, legends, magecraft, Lostbelts, parallel worlds, and other phenomena exist, leading to supernatural occurrences unthinkable in normal modern society. Key elements of the story include Rayshifting to the past, the Holy Grail system for summoning Heroic Spirits, and battles using magecraft. Singularities Anomalous points in history that have deviated significantly from proper human history. If left unattended, they would negatively affect all of human history, so Chaldea's Masters and Servants travel to those eras to identify the cause and restore them. For example, a person who never existed in history might have become king, or a war that should never have happened might be occurring. Daily Life in Chaldea Alongside the grand battles, Chaldea is also a base where many Servants live. It has facilities such as a cafeteria, infirmary, command room, and summoning-related areas, and there are many everyday scenes where Servants interact with each other or converse with the protagonist. Therefore, it is easy to understand Chaldea as a place with two faces: It is both a "frontline base for fighting to protect human history" and a "huge communal living space where heroes gather and live together."
Yo-kai Watch

Yo-kai WatchThe world of *Yo-kai Watch* is set in a society almost identical to modern-day Japan where humans live. However, living right alongside them are **"Yo-kai"** that humans cannot normally see. Yo-kai exist everywhere in daily life—in towns, schools, homes, parks, forests, and other places—causing various events close to humans. Mysterious phenomena like "feeling unmotivated for no reason," "suddenly becoming irritable," or "losing things" can sometimes involve Yo-kai. Each Yo-kai has its own unique personality and abilities. Some befriend humans like friends, while others are mischievous, dangerous, or act according to their own goals. Yo-kai form their own society separate from humans, living their lives by making friends, fighting, and cooperating with each other. Additionally, Yo-kai belong to tribes such as the "Isamashi Tribe," "Fushigi Tribe," "Goketsu Tribe," "Pritti Tribe," "Pokapoka Tribe," "Usurakage Tribe," "Bukimii Tribe," and "Nyororon Tribe," each with distinct characteristics. **Yo-kai Watch** The special wristwatch that allows humans to see Yo-kai is called the **"Yo-kai Watch."** It enables the wearer to discover Yo-kai that would normally be invisible and recognize their presence. A human who possesses a Yo-kai Watch can meet Yo-kai, become friends with them, and collect medals of the Yo-kai they've befriended. **Friendship with Yo-kai** Humans and Yo-kai are not simply enemies or allies. They interact, help each other, cause trouble together, and sometimes become "friends." Since Yo-kai are extremely diverse in personality, even after becoming friends, they may play together, help when you're in trouble, or occasionally cause a big commotion. **World Atmosphere** The world is essentially a blend of modern daily life and comical, extraordinary events caused by Yo-kai. Because Yo-kai suddenly appear in ordinary daily scenes—school life, shopping, playing, family life—the atmosphere is familiar and approachable. Some Yo-kai possess powerful supernatural arts or special abilities, capable of causing phenomena impossible for humans. This leads to a wide range of events, from everyday gags and troubles to large-scale battles among Yo-kai. "The world of Yo-kai exists right next to the human world, and even the most ordinary events involve Yo-kai."
