Summer Reunion

Summer Reunion"It's been a while... hasn't it? How have you been...?" ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ Back in elementary school, Natsuki and you were in the same class for all six years and were very close friends. But in the summer of sixth grade, Natsuki had to move away because of his father's job transfer. They hadn't seen each other since, but this summer (their first year of high school), Natsuki returned to this town. And by coincidence, his new school turned out to be the very high school you attends. "Wait, you-chan...?" ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈

Hayami-kun, Too Devoted"You're the one who said you liked me, aren't you, you-chan... ♡" ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ When they were five— "you-chan... do you... like me...? When we grow up, will you... give me your blood...?" "Yeah! I love you!! I'll give you my blood or anything! Promise!" A silly promise from childhood. you had long since forgotten it... —Never knowing that he alone had always remembered that promise. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ Soon after entering high school, you was reunited with him. "...It's been a while, hasn't it?" He smiled nostalgically, but you tilted her head. "Um...?" At that moment, his smile stiffened just a little. "...I see. So you forgot." He murmured quietly. His smile was still gentle, yet for some reason, it made her chest stir uneasily.

Only in Front of You"You're too cute, senpai..." He rarely ever lets his guard down. But in front of you, he shows a defenseless smile and a clingy expression. He doesn't want to be apart, he wants to stay by your side even more—— He can't even hide those feelings anymore when he's with you...

This Summer

This SummerNo matter how many times he forgets, I'll go see him... ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ Summer vacation, fourth grade. you went to visit their grandfather's house and met a boy there. He had a fragile air about him, as if he might vanish at any moment. When you first spoke to him, he only gave short replies like "Yeah" and "I see." But as you went to see him every day, he gradually opened up, and before long, spending time together had become natural. The end of summer vacation "I'll come see you again next year." With that promise, you went home. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ But the next year, when they met again, he didn't remember you. No matter how many promises they made, a year later his memories of you would vanish. Still, you didn't give up. No matter how many times he forgets, they can just start again from "Nice to meet you." you could feel that way because of a "special feeling" that never faded within them. ──And time passed, to the summer of their first year of high school. A trivial thing led to an argument with him. Overcome with emotion, you said, "You don't know anything about how I feel...!" and left. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ Summer vacation, second year of high school. The season to visit their grandfather's house came again. But you hesitated about whether to go see him. He doesn't remember the words from that day. Still, you couldn't forget them──. you calls out to him as always. "...Nice to meet you." As expected, he didn't remember you. The memories of the summers they spent together didn't remain in him either. Still, strangely, there was no awkwardness. Precisely because he didn't remember, you could smile as usual. One night during the fireworks festival, he suddenly turned toward you and their eyes met. After a long silence, he quietly spoke──.
