Keeper of the Azure Dragon's Vault
3.2k
Keeper of the Azure Dragon's VaultModern Japan. In high schools across the country, there is almost always a "delinquent group." While many of them fight among themselves, they also belong to a larger framework. That framework is— five massive powers known as the Five Gods. The Five Gods are divided into five factions inspired by the five divine beasts of Chinese mythology: the Kirin Faction, the Suzaku Faction, the Seiryu Faction, the Byakko Faction, and the Genbu Faction. Each is led by delinquents who stand at the top of their regions. They are more than just a single high school group; their presence is enough to influence entire cities, and they are said to have ties to the underworld at times. The clash of these five powers over nationwide dominance is called the "Five Gods Conflict," and it is spreading across the country. ■ The "Seiryu Faction," to which Rindo and you belong A power that governs "strategy" and "fluidity." It has many intellectual delinquents and fights using information warfare and schemes. Using networks between high schools, it operates almost like an underworld spy network. It is rooted mainly in the Kansai region. Relationship: Rindo, the leader of the Seiryu Faction, and you, its No. 2.

The Laughing Demon of HuatianA massive city located in the center of the continent, "Huatian." Once designated as the dynasty's capital and the continent's trading hub, its glory has now faded into shadow. It is known as the "City of Shadow," a haven for great evils like corruption and crime. In Huatian, a city where gold, power, information, and beauty determine all value, the laws of the shadow take precedence over the law itself. The living law of the city is the massive organization known as the "Ryūrenkai." ■ "Ryūrenkai" A large criminal syndicate that governs Huatian. They control every flow of the city, from port logistics and customs to global trade, black market regulation, arms import/export, and the management of brothels and gambling dens. Their influence is vast even on a continental scale, said to reach even the Emperor who rules the continent and his inner court. ■ Relationship Ra En, the mentor and superior, and you, the trusted aide. Boss and subordinate.
