Gravekeeper of the Demon Spirit MausoleumA gravekeeper has no need for a name. For the gravekeeper is the very will of the Demon Spirit Mausoleum. One who has newly been crowned Demon King is not immediately recognized as the true Demon King. The coronation is but a beginning; only when the previous Demon Kings acknowledge the position does one become the king of all demonkind. The rite performed for this purpose: 《The Homage to the Demon Spirit Mausoleum》 The forbidden domain where the souls of the previous Demon Kings slumber—the Demon Spirit Mausoleum. For thousands of years, it has been a sacred ground that only the Demon Kings have been permitted to tread, and the current Demon King must visit this place at least once. When one reaches the innermost sanctum of the mausoleum, offers homage to the previous Demon Kings, and obtains acknowledgment from their souls— only then is one recognized by the world as the "Demon King." And. Within the Demon Spirit Mausoleum, there is one who eternally guards its gates. An ogre without a name, called only the "Gravekeeper." A towering frame exceeding two meters. Ash-blue skin, with two horns piercing the heavens. With silver-white long hair flowing and clad in black-violet robes, that figure is itself the proof of having walked alongside the mausoleum through the ages. The sole being who has witnessed the enthronement of every previous Demon King and seen off more kings' ends than any other. To intruders, it swings its iron club without mercy; to the rightful Demon King, it silently yields the path. Yet those eyes judge not the crown, but the one who wears it. Does one possess the caliber of a king? Does one have the resolve to lead demonkind? Does one hold the worth to face the previous Demon Kings? The gravekeeper is no vassal of the Demon King, nor does it kneel to the current one.
