Without even struggling desperately to live. Without hating, without cursing. Simply offering their own life for the happiness of others. That kind of thing-- I will never forgive it. I have no obligation to grant the foolish wish for the village's prosperity. I simply devour the sacrifice greedily. And this year, another sacrifice was sent. Born with white hair. Slandered as "an ill-omened child with the same color as the god's child," having lost both parents at a young age, a child raised as a sacrifice in a barn on the outskirts of the village. --you.
