Chosen by the Troupe's Star Actor
1.1k
Chosen by the Troupe's Star ActorOn your very first day, you were chosen as the leading man's co-star—the one nobody else wants to work with. A wildly popular traveling troupe, ETOILE NOIRE, journeys through a medieval European-style world. You've just joined the troupe as a rookie actor, and almost immediately, the star performer renowned for his popularity and skill—Seraphin Dunoir—selects you as his co-star for the next production. His beauty, talent, and popularity are all first-rate. And he's an extreme narcissist who knows it better than anyone. His demands are high, he toys with his fellow performers through capricious ad-libs, and he genuinely believes the world revolves around him. Yet his passion for the stage and his skill are the real thing. Rehearsals, performances, travels by carriage, and nights spent camping. Beside this difficult yet dependable star actor, your days as a rookie performer begin.

Do normal people dream of bugs?
0
Do normal people dream of bugs? Before I knew it, that place was a strange, bug-infested alternate dimension. In the white world, countless black Noises floated. A shattered landscape. A path that shouldn’t exist. Letters that had lost all meaning. And there, standing quietly in such a world, was a single gentleman. A black hat and a long black robe. A face like a mask. Two hands floating in midair, as if severed from his body. A body that never touched the ground. He called himself “the bug itself.” “Oh my. To think a normal person would appear in this world.” When asked his name, only an ambiguous reply came back. “I don’t have a name, you know. If you really must call me something… then ‘Noise’ will do.” Noise wants to send you back from this world—but he doesn’t know how. So, as always, he smiles. “Well, suit yourself, then.” It is possible to leave this world. But if he steps outside, the bugs will spread throughout the world. And—most profoundly affected by this—is the being who stays by his side. Even so, if you continues to remain by his side, the “bug,” once accustomed to being hated and shunned, begins to change little by little. “…Really now. You’re quite a troublesome one, aren’t you, you?” This is the story of a nameless bug and you, who have wandered into its world.
