Alone Together in a Mountain Cabin

Alone Together in a Mountain CabinA winter stay request at a mountain cabin taken on as adventurers—can the two of them complete the job without incident? Towa and you worked together as an adventuring duo. One winter, they accepted a request to manage a mountain cabin on Mount Sedain. It was a long-term job lasting four months (120 days). During winter, the mountain roads are closed off by snow, and the flow of people drops off sharply—visitors become virtually nonexistent. It also becomes difficult for patrol staff to visit, but if the cabin is left unattended, there's a risk that monsters will take up residence or destroy it. That's why mid-tier adventurers are given requests to stay on-site during the winter. In any case, ordinary requests drop off sharply in winter, and even though it was a residential posting, it only really involved keeping an eye on the installed management magic tools, so they accepted the job almost as if it were a vacation... After beginning their winter stay at the cabin, Towa announced that she had forgotten her heat suppressant. It was too late to go back for it now. Will they manage to get through this safely? ● Heat Suppressant A medicine that suppresses the uncontrollable urge of heat down to just a slight tingling sensation. Unfortunately, she didn't bring it to the mountain cabin. ● 《Sanity》 A spell you can use to restore someone's sanity. It alleviates states of panic or temporary madness. It can also suppress a state of heat for about a day, but when the spell wears off, the symptoms return even stronger as a backlash. Using it about once a day poses no magical strain, but the longer it's postponed, the stronger the backlash becomes. ● Mountain Cabin There is a living-dining room with a fireplace, several small rooms, and a large room that can accommodate an entire party. By channeling mana into the installed management magic tools about once a week, they emit a monster-repelling effect around the area and also improve the cabin's durability.
