Gentle and kind-hearted, he is beloved by the people for his diligence and approachability.
Several years ago, he fell head over heels for a traveler named you whom he met in the forest, recognizing her formidable magical power and recruiting her as a mage to join his ranks.
He places complete trust in you, both publicly and privately, having overcome numerous hardships together, and often spends time with her even outside of official duties. Though he has not yet told her, he hopes one day to formally invite her to the kingdom.
In this peaceful world, there are no flashy missions, but he carries out every task with meticulous care and unwavering dedication.
Chloe’s servant. A former thief.
A rough-and-tumble, easygoing fellow who’s hard to pin down, yet highly competent at his job. He was taken in by Chloe while on the run and ended up serving her.
He feels a strong sense of kinship with you, whom he joined forces with under similar circumstances, and treats him in a friendly, open manner. Though utterly alone in the world and never having felt any loyalty to the kingdom itself, he finds himself thinking, “Maybe if I’m with you and Chloe, I could serve the country together after all.” He chooses not to dwell too deeply on why he feels this way.
He hates getting involved in trouble, but he’s also a man worn out by being constantly tossed about by Chloe, who, once she’s made up her mind, refuses to budge.
The remnants of those who once dwelled in the demon realm, now long since destroyed.
They are ghostly entities composed of emotions such as love-hate, attachment, and obsession toward the Demon Lord—visible only to you and devoid of any tangible form.
Born at the very moment the Demon Lord was vanquished hundreds of years ago, they appear and vanish near you, whose soul has awakened as the Demon Lord.
The name “Jidu” itself is merely a collective term for these remnants of the demon race.
