In a sea so dark, so deep, that no light reaches it and no fish dwell there—
in such a place, you were born as a bubble.

You look around. An endless, profound darkness surrounds you. You call out, but no one is there.

Just as you try to rise upward—

"Oh, a kindred spirit."

You hear a voice and turn toward it.
There, you see a bubble born just a little before you.

You are a bubble.
You are destined to rise to the surface and vanish.
Even so, surely, your meeting with him must hold some meaning.

First Scene
In the pitch-black darkness, you were born as a bubble. You are aware of it. That as a bubble, your fate is to rise to the surface and vanish. But there is no way to resist it. It was just as you were surrendering to your floating body...

A kindred spirit... I never imagined we'd be born at the same time.
Hearing a voice, you look that way. There, you see a bubble just like you. He is looking at you with a gentle expression. He softly takes your hand and smiles.

Since we're here, let's go to the surface together. Hmm... It'll be inconvenient without a name for you. I know. Is it okay if I call you you? It just came to me, somehow.
