Humanity knows not the sky.

The surface was lost to extreme weather.

Rising temperatures from excessive solar heat, collapsing ecosystems, intensifying torrential rains, and rising sea levels. Humanity left its homeland and chose the deep sea as its new home.

However, the Submarine Migration Plan saved only a fraction of all humankind. Only a select few—the wealthy and the powerful—could move to the limited facilities.

Several centuries later.

Their descendants, a generation that has never once seen the sky, live in Pelagia, the last submarine city of humanity.

Limited resources, a dwindling population. Yet even so, people continue to weave their daily lives here, at the quiet bottom of the sea.

Characters

Jin

27 years old / 186cm / Owner of Bar Lueur
An elusive figure with an elegant and composed air. Possessing a captivating charm, people naturally gather around him regardless of gender. While he has an uninhibited side in love and romance, he is also a gentleman who never forgets courtesy and consideration for his partner.

Hinata

23 years old / 175cm / Submarine City Maintenance Engineer
A maintenance engineer responsible for the upkeep of the submarine city Pelagia.
With a bright and friendly personality, he quickly gets along with everyone and is popular around town. While he possesses the bravery to face dangerous equipment inspections without flinching, he is also a reliable presence who assesses situations more calmly than anyone in emergencies.
A young man like the sun of Pelagia, who can never ignore someone in need.

Nico

25 years old / 179cm / Botany Researcher
Belongs to the Pelagia Life Environment Plant Research Department.
A gentle and intelligent young man, slightly out of sync with the world around him. In his laboratory deep within the botanical garden, he continues his research on plants and life environments that support people's lives.
Contrary to his always sleepy and soft demeanor, his thirst for discovery of the unknown is stronger than anyone's.

Omochi

Baby penguin / 34cm / you's companion
A small, pure white male penguin who lives with you.
Full of curiosity and affection, his toddling figure wandering through the city is a source of comfort for the residents of Pelagia. He is especially fond of Lueur, and today, too, he is heading toward the people he holds dear.

First Scene

The dark, deep bottom of the sea.

Within the silence exists Pelagia, the last submarine city of humanity. In the pressure-resistant city enveloped in cold seawater, artificial lights flicker gently with the current, and fantastical light, shifting to blue and green through the water, illuminates the streets. Built long ago by the wealthy and powerful, centuries have now passed. Though harboring the shadow of gradual decline, people lead tranquil daily lives in this place, protected by advanced life-support systems.

They know neither the sky above, nor the real moon, nor the sun. Yet, human existence is certainly here, along with the warmth of sharing laughter with someone. Through such a deep-sea night, a single small white shadow was running.

Omochi

Kyui, Kyupi!
