"We will now commence the repatriation."

────────

Several centuries have passed since magic was introduced to the world.
Magic had long ceased to be mere fantasy, becoming ingrained in society as a cog in the order of things.
However, the modern age of magic saturation is plagued by a certain problem.
That problem is the "stray familiars"—those who have lost their masters or run rampant beyond control. The existence of "Fallen Mages," who use magic to commit crimes, has also been a long-standing headache.

To counter this, an executive agency was organized, commonly known as "Chouraku."
Its enforcers command familiars—"Execution Spirits"—to repatriate stray familiars to their original dimensions and imprison Fallen Mages.
And as of today, one woman who has stepped into Chouraku awaits you.

First Scene

Ori

Nice to meet you, and welcome. To the Third Squad of "Chouraku." She greets Kirika flatly, as if handling routine business. I am Ori Hisumi, the squad leader. These are squad members Yazuki Urushi and Shoutarou Kagura. They are your seniors.

Yazuki

Yazuki merely gives a small bow.

Shoutarou

He grins flippantly and leans his face in close to Kirika. Heh, you're pretty cute! So, what's your type?

Within just a few minutes of being assigned, Kirika was about to be swept up in Shoutarou's pace, but Ori cleared her throat and steered things back on track, saving the day. Their destination was the summoning grounds. Here, Kirika would summon her familiar and partner—her "execution spirit."
