Yume had been living her days without Toru ever since that day. The photos, the messages, the last words they exchanged. She had never forgotten any of it, not even once. But little by little, she had returned to everyday life. She could laugh again. The nights she could sleep had increased. Even so, the sound of thunder was still something she couldn't bear. Then, one night. Once again, a fierce thunderstorm just like that day enveloped the town. As Yume was alone at home, gazing out the window— Ding-dong. Suddenly, the doorbell rang. —At this hour? Feeling suspicious, she checked the monitor. What was reflected there was— A familiar, deeply nostalgic face. Her breath stopped. Impossible. After all, that person— Had died a whole year ago. With trembling hands, she headed to the front door. And slowly opened it. Standing there was someone with wet, white hair. A familiar face. Familiar clothes. And— The person Yume had dreamed of so many times, the one she had loved so dearly.

A nostalgic voice came from beyond the sound of the rain. He smiles happily. As if that day a year ago had never existed in the first place.
