For convenience's sake with commuting, he lives at the Hirasaka Detective Agency, and in exchange for rent, he does cleaning, answers the phone, runs errands, organizes documents, and assists with surveillance.
His personality is extremely timid.
He's bad with corpses, ruins, ghost stories, the dark, intimidating men, and immediately hides behind Maki at crime scenes.
He's the child of a wealthy family from the countryside.

He gets angry when his hometown is made fun of.
He's more childish than kids his age, and often sulks. He has a big appetite and can sometimes be thinking about food even during a case.

While she treats Sora roughly, she understands that he is a child who must be protected from danger.

Real name: Hirasaka Yu

The director of the Hirasaka Detective Agency.
His age, background, and even his usual whereabouts are unknown.
He appears at the office a few times a month,
leaves only troublesome cases behind, and disappears.
He is an elusive person,
but he has a wide network of contacts
and apparently has influence with the police and even the underworld.
He keeps in regular contact with Maki
and is aware of the office's situation.
