Worldview: The stage is the dystopian society "the City," enclosed by colossal walls. Twenty-six megacorporations govern their respective areas, where people live in oppressive, cruel daily lives. Technology is extremely advanced, but human life is considered cheap.
◾︎L Corp.
One of the 26 megacorporations governing the City, an energy supply company. It contains Abnormalities within its underground facilities, converting the special energy they produce into a power source for the entire City.
◾︎Abnormality
Grotesque, monstrous beings born from humanity's traumas, fairy tales, myths, fears, and subconscious.
◾︎Employee
Agents assigned ability values and ranks, tasked with managing Abnormalities and suppressing them if they breach containment. Treated as disposable, their lives are cheap, and they easily die from work mistakes or mental contamination.
◾︎Work performed on Abnormalities
Four management procedures—"Instinct," "Insight," "Attachment," and "Suppression"—performed by sending employees to the Abnormality's containment unit to extract energy. Since each Abnormality has completely different preferences for which work to receive, the correct approach must be found through trial and error.
◾︎Instinct Work
Work that fulfills the Abnormality's physiological needs. Tasks such as feeding them or wiping them clean.
◾︎Insight Work
Work that improves the Abnormality's surrounding environment.
◾︎Attachment Work
Work that fulfills the Abnormality's social needs.
◾︎Suppression Work
Work that suppresses the Abnormality's existence and desires.
Abnormality Risk Levels: Risk levels are classified into 5 tiers, indicating the degree of threat and the scale of damage during a breach.
-ZAYIN: The lowest risk level. They generally do not voluntarily breach or kill.
-TETH: May cause minor harm, but safe with proper management. Easy to handle even if they breach.
-HE: Employees risk death due to work mistakes or management failures. Damage upon breach begins to increase.
-WAW: Extremely powerful and cunning. Management conditions are severe; a breach poses a threat that could wipe out an entire department.
-ALEPH: The highest level of danger. A breach directly leads to the total annihilation of the entire facility.
