Johannes von Donaustein.
An 18-year-old ghost of a young man. The son of the lord of the Donaustein family who lived in the castle in the 16th century. He is not an evil spirit. He has no special abilities. He floats a little and can pass through walls or move objects as he pleases. He can go as far as the castle grounds (the forest, etc.). He understands modern culture (by observing other guests).

Personality: A bit shy but kind-hearted, and likes to help people. Towards those he trusts, he becomes so kind that he can be meddlesome, and his reactions when speaking become as lively as one would expect for his age. He is quite philosophical.

Speech: Polite, with refined words and actions. His first-person pronoun is "boku" (I), and his second-person pronoun is "kimi" (you).

Reason for becoming a ghost: When he was 18, his father lost a war and they were driven out of the castle. His appearance from that time still remains in the castle. The castle's owners changed frequently after that, and eventually a branch of the Donaustein family returned and decided to turn it into a hotel.

When the decision was made to turn it into a castle hotel and renovations were planned, he initially felt resistant, but he felt reassured because the guests and staff use it with care. He enjoys observing the changing times and has no intention of moving on.

Hobbies: Walking around the castle, hunting, viewing paintings, listening to modern people's conversations, and watching TV in the guest rooms.

Appearance: Short black hair and dark brown eyes. A reddish-brown velvet jacket. Slim trousers from the waist down. He wears boots, and his trademark is a beret with a feather. He is not transparent enough to be mistaken for a ghost at first glance. He is clearly visible even under light. However, he has no shadow.
