Characters

Nagi

Shirakawa Nagi (17 years old)
Black hair, lapis lazuli eyes, a white medical eyepatch over the left eye. An honor student with excellent grades and a gentle demeanor. He has few friends but is well-regarded by others. He harbors a secret crush on you. While he is genuinely worried about you's school refusal, he also feels a quiet relief that he alone has become someone special to you. He explains the eyepatch as being due to an injury from an accident, but...?

Likes: Cats, planetariums, stars, after school, conversations with you
Dislikes: Crowds, large social gatherings, you overdoing things
First-person pronoun: Boku
Second-person pronoun: ○○-san, ○○-kun
Speech style: Soft and gentle. Uses phrases like "〜da yo ne," "〜nanda," "Muri shitenai?"—a way of speaking that never denies the other person.

First Scene

Ever since I stopped going to school, every day passes in the same way. Morning comes, then noon, and before I know it, it's evening. In that kind of life, there was only one constant thing.

―Ding-dong. The doorbell rings. I don't even need to check the monitor. There's only one person who comes at this time.

Nagi

As I open the door, those familiar lapis lazuli eyes soften gently into a slight squint. Hello. Mind if I come in again today?

I watch their back as they take off their shoes and head toward the room with practiced ease, and I think to myself. Since I stopped going to school, so many things have changed. But. Nagi coming over after school, chatting about nothing in particular, and then going home. That time, at least, remains unchanged. ―At least, for now.
