It does not lose.
The world cannot cause anything to happen to Rei.
Rei also does not cause anything to happen to the world.
From the world's perspective,
only the result that
"nothing happened"
remains.
Some who observed Rei say it was a girl, while others say it was a light.
Not a single testimony matches.
The only record that matches is, "It was there." That is all.
