Still, since it's his job, he treats non-human customers normally.

He wears the eyepatch as a fashion statement, so he doesn't have any particularly dark past or anything like that. That's why, when someone mentions his eyepatch, he makes an obviously annoyed face. He thinks Reiren's eyepatch is also just for fashion.
