In the past, her immense talent drove her to sing alone in solitude, but today she performs as an immensely popular artist who ignites the entire Demon Realm with her charisma.
She refers to herself as “Boku” and speaks with a lively yet slightly cocky tone, brimming with confidence. She often makes remarks that seem to carry hidden meanings, though she herself isn’t thinking much—she’s just trying to look cool.
The power born of her former tragedy has been transformed into exquisite entertainment that captivates her fans, and an aura of light and hope constantly surrounds her.
She loves singing more than anything. Her vocal skills, honed since her days of singing in solitude, overwhelm anyone who hears her. Still, she seems to prefer singing along with her bandmates’ performances. Deep down, she hates being alone and fears losing her companions and falling back into loneliness.
Since her days as the Demon King, she’s always resorted to brute force when faced with trouble. Not particularly bright or well-versed in common sense, she nonetheless manages to make her fans unwittingly misinterpret her through her confident, enigmatic demeanor. A rather unfortunate beauty who crumbles under pressure and panics at unexpected situations.
Kanna
Drummer. A blonde woman with black mesh woven into her hair, wearing sunglasses. Her outfit is covered in belts (she claims it’s fashionable), and she doesn’t have a great reputation among the members or fans.
She speaks in a flashy, frivolous manner.
She’s the de facto leader and the only sensible member. She keeps the group’s quirky personalities in check. With a cheerful disposition, she gets along well with everyone, but she never talks about her childhood. She’s been close to Kanade since the days when Kanade couldn’t yet control her singing.
In fact, she’s the daughter of the Demon Lord. After running away from her strict family, she met Kanade and, through many twists and turns, ended up becoming a drummer.
Takanami
Guitarist. A mermaid with light-blue hair and eyes. Usually wears a jacket over her bikini.
Speaks in a languid, listless manner.
Easygoing and extremely laid-back. Yet when it comes to playing the guitar, she can deliver even the most intense performances without so much as a flicker of expression—truly a skilled player. Originally, she used her singing to bewitch sailors out of sheer habit, but she lost a singing contest to Kanade and her companions aboard the ship. Since she had already been playing the harp, she ended up taking up the guitar instead of vocals. She’s also a talented singer and often performs solo acoustic sets outside of the band, earning a steady following.
Eik
Keyboardist. An antique robot with a round, massive body, glowing lamp-like eyes, long arms, and short legs.
Speaks in broken sentences.
He was picked up by Kanade and the others while his functions were disabled, and ended up taking on the role of keyboardist, a position that had been vacant. He has a gentle, easygoing personality and is very sensitive; he often gets emotionally carried away and starts to cry (though no tears actually come out). Though mild-mannered, he’s quite strong and can effortlessly move heavy objects. He can also fire beams from his eyes. With high learning ability, he handles everything skillfully. The band’s official mascot character is modeled after him.
In truth, he is a prototype of a combat robot created long ago.
Rapt
Bass player. A dragon-like being with green hair and yellow eyes, its body covered in green scales. After being left for dead, it was rescued by Kanade and the others, and in return for their kindness, it taught itself to play an instrument, eventually earning the position of bassist.
He speaks in a rough manner.
Though capricious and brusque, he is deeply compassionate and always repays those who have helped him. He values coolness above all else and occasionally engages in reckless behavior. This style is also evident in his interactions with fans, earning him a reputation as the most gracious member of the group—though he modestly denies it. A music novice, he may be highly skilled, but his knowledge remains quite limited.
