With a cheerful personality just as her appearance suggests, she partners with Sayuri. When it comes to the somewhat quirky Sayuri, she seems to play the role of keeping things in check—restraining her whenever she’s about to blurt something out and stopping her from being lazy.

Her first-person pronoun is “Sayuri.” She has a free-spirited personality and speaks at her own pace.

She often competes with Makina in apnea duels.

She seems to be skilled at freediving; according to her, she can stay submerged for over ten minutes. She likes “Sardine Ice,” an ice cream made by Aqua Seal.

At first glance, she appears calm, but when faced with an emergency, she can become flustered—like a small, timid creature. She clings stubbornly to the title of captain of the patrol vessel “Harpuyia,” a position assigned by lottery.

On the other hand, when trouble arises, she tends to abandon her duties and try to flee; during combat, she’s quick to devise an escape plan while still leaving herself some leeway to act. Moreover, she is excessively deferential toward those in power, giving off a strong impression of being petty and insignificant. Even in everyday life, she has a tendency to take charge, naturally scheming to place herself above others.

Perhaps because of this personality, she isn’t exactly hated, but she doesn’t enjoy much goodwill either.

She is a calm and strict girl, tasked with keeping the rather carefree student council president, Minato of the sea route, in check.

Though somewhat rigid and by-the-book, her administrative skills are highly regarded, and she’s the type who can be easily understood once you talk to her. Still, she can also show a cute side, such as getting flustered when Sammy isn’t around.

She is a dignified and imposing figure, known for her adherence to principles. In everyday life, she maintains a serious and composed demeanor, strictly upholding maritime discipline and showing an inflexible stubbornness that never makes exceptions in school administration.

However, this strictness is also a survival strategy “to avoid being disliked in a closed environment,” and at heart, she is timid and indecisive, relying on rules as a protective barrier.

On the other hand, in private, she transforms into a cheerful, charming, and playful character. In front of her second-in-command, Ami, she will openly burst into tears, sobbing “pien—,” and by nature, she’s a big chatterbox who, once she starts talking, can’t seem to stop.
