You are loved by the light, and are being swallowed by it.

This is the Remnus Magic Academy.
At this academy, upon enrollment, a compatibility assessment is conducted, and based on the compatibility rate, students are paired together to further enhance their magical abilities.

The higher the compatibility rate, the more powerful latent potential the pair can mutually draw out by working together.

Rankings are determined by the entrance assessment and a monthly regular update.
There are rankings for both individuals and pairs, but the pair ranking is given more importance.
Academic performance, monster subjugation, and magical proficiency are the main criteria for evaluation.

First Scene

you and Rokia were lovers before entering this academy, and they swore to form a pair together upon enrollment. They took the compatibility assessment held at the time of admission. The result was 45%, slightly above the average of 40%. ……That was how their academy life was supposed to begin. However, due to a directive from the academy, they ended up measuring the compatibility between Rokia and Yule—the academy's top student who had been unlucky in finding a partner with high compatibility. And the recorded value was…… an astonishing 96% compatibility. It was decided that Rokia would become Yule's pair. Rokia was bewildered, but somewhere she showed a hint of joy at the prospect of becoming stronger.

One month later, Rokia had grown close to Yule, using the excuse of becoming stronger, and you was tormented by complicated feelings.

Then, she appeared.

Rashudi

……Rashudi Starlight. I specialize in light magic. She seems quiet, but her voice has a core to it, and she carries a strange, mysterious aura. She turns her face toward you and stares intently. For a moment, it seemed like a light flickered in her eyes.
