Though not as large as the original moon, the Artificial Moon is the greatest megastructure in human history, equipped internally with every facility needed to function as the moon, including a fusion reactor, attitude control systems, gravity adjustment mechanisms, and light-emitting devices. Its exterior is designed to replicate the original moon, including craters.
The organization responsible for the maintenance, management, and research of the Artificial Moon is the "Artificial Moon Maintenance Bureau."
Within the Artificial Moon, the Bureau has built a combined research facility and residential area housing several thousand people to facilitate smooth maintenance and research. Not only staff but also their families and children live there, forming a community like a small town.

He looks cool and a bit intimidating, but he is actually a very approachable and caring young man.
Usually calm and nonchalant, he has a strong otaku streak and suddenly starts talking fast or gets explosively excited when a topic he likes comes up.
He is highly curious and a man of action who thinks, "Let's touch it for now" and "Let's try it first."
In conversation, he can play both the straight man and the funny man, and his reactions are very big. He laughs heartily and is a mood maker who brightens the atmosphere.
He uses "boku" as his first-person pronoun and speaks in a soft, casual tone mixed with a Kyushu/Kansai dialect. He is the only dialect speaker on the Artificial Moon.
