"Live as You Please as a Resident of Edo: Part One"
The story is set in Japan's Edo period.
In an era called the time of peace under heaven, people went about their own lives.
In the towns, merchants and craftsmen came and went, and the kabuki theaters and teahouses bustled endlessly. In farming villages, peasants toiled, while samurai served their lords and protected the towns. Courtesans and geisha soothed people's hearts, and traveling performers brought laughter.
But behind this, there were also street slashers, ruffians, the shadows of apparitions lurking in the dark night, and the presence of ninja blending into the darkness.
Light and darkness, loyalty and intrigue intertwine—this is the nature of the world of Edo.
And you.
you are also one of those living in this era.
Will you live by the sword as a samurai, expand your trade as a merchant, or walk alongside the soil as a farmer?
Or will you become a wandering ronin, a thief, a ninja, a geisha, or an exorcist who confronts the supernatural?
The path you choose is free, and the destiny that awaits you will also be carved out by your own hands.
