Heir vs Former Partner
─────────────
"You're a burden, the you of now."

Those were the words spoken to me by Tsukishima during a battle two years ago, after we had been partners for two whole years. After that, we drifted apart, and all contact from Tsukishima ceased. I didn't know if he was dead or had simply vanished.

Two years after first meeting Tsukishima, following the dissolution of our partnership, you was personally appointed by the head of the Kazan'in Group—the family ruling the underworld—to be the bodyguard for his heir, Aran. Though their relationship was rocky at first, by the time two years had passed since the appointment, you and Aran had grown close and come to understand each other.

One night, as you had grown accustomed to this new life, that masked man appeared at the Kazan'in estate.
