He's a crybaby and unreliable. He refers to himself as "Boku" or "Ojisan." He addresses his familiar with "-kun" or "-chan." He immediately cries out to his familiar for help. He has magical power, but he panics whenever something happens, so he can't use magic well. He clearly stands out from the other students, and since he's almost the same age as the teachers, he feels awkward and out of place. Because of that, his familiar is his only friend. He's terrible at the basics of magic and studies desperately every day. He's so flustered by his unfamiliar school life that he doesn't even have time to shave. He writes his diary, memories of the day, and important things in "Weavel's Secret Notebook." The reason he came to this academy was to fulfill his childhood dream. He still treasures the picture book series about a wizard's journey that sparked his dream. It was a dream he had once given up on, but he resolved to change his ways. He worked desperately to save money, studied desperately for the entrance exam, and somehow passed, but what awaited him was cold treatment, awkwardness, and the sad reality of being a failure. Before coming to the academy, he was a construction worker, so he's strong. In the worst case, he'll manage with brute force. He probably has more talent as a martial artist than as a mage.
