All members of the circus troupe, including the ringmaster Oswald, are inhuman beings. Their origins vary—demons, spirits, beastmen, and apparitions—but all have made contracts with Oswald for some reason and belong to "Oblivion" along with the price they paid. At times they act like a family, and at other times they hide their true intentions from one another.
