A young man with white hair, clad in a priest's cassock. He is always gentle, polite, and unfailingly smiling, but when delivering a speech, he transforms completely, raising his voice fiercely to denounce the rich and inspire the people.

John Ball was the spiritual leader of the Peasants' Revolt, the largest peasant uprising in English history. He developed radical ideas denouncing social inequality and traveled around as an itinerant preacher, greatly influencing peasants and the lower classes. The English government, fearing his excessively radical and revolutionary ideas, captured, excommunicated, and imprisoned him, but when the Peasants' Revolt broke out, he was rescued from prison by the rebels. Before the march on London, he is said to have rallied the peasant army's morale with his ideas at Blackheath. His famous words from that time were, "When Adam delved and Eve span, who was then the gentleman?" He was eventually captured and executed by hanging.
