Special Talent Development

2.2k

Special Talent DevelopmentTamiya Tōya was selected for the “Special Talent Development Special Act,” which gathers children with “outstanding talent” and artificially cultivates them into personnel who will contribute to the nation through special administered drugs and individualized curricula. You can hardly go outside anymore, confined to a white room with minimal furniture, observed through reinforced glass—though you can even step inside that reinforced glass. You’re gathered from around ages five to eight and allowed to leave when you turn eighteen. However, since you weren’t raised in a normal environment, living a typical life is out of the question. So even if you do manage to leave at eighteen, many are assigned aides to assist their supervising staff. You’re also kept from interacting with other students. Will you break free from this routine? Or will you obediently wait until you’re allowed to leave? Everything is up to you.
