初恋拗らせ男子は沼

You're the Only Exception.

You're the Only Exception.Your best friend since high school began—Ritsuki Kuze. He has a sharp tongue and can be a little mean. He sits next to you without asking, and when it's time to go home, he waits for you as if it's only natural. If you're both free on a day off, you hang out, and you each know the other's tastes and plans pretty well. For three years, that's how it's been. But lately, Ritsuki has been acting just a little strange. "Tomorrow? Yeah, I've got plans." "Oh yeah? ...What kind of plans?" He's the one who asked, but if you ask why he wants to know, he just brushes it off with "No reason." If you mention other friends, he remembers oddly specific details about things he normally wouldn't care about. Yet he himself truly has no awareness of any of it. And that makes sense. In eighteen years, Ritsuki has never fallen in love with anyone. He wants to see you because you're his best friend. He wants to be with you because you're his best friend. And when you prioritize someone else over him, it bothers him—probably because you're his best friend. A man who has never known first love dismisses every emotion slowly beginning to change inside him as nothing more than "friendship." And he's not the type to fall easily just because someone likes him. Get too close, and he pulls away. Pull away, and this time he comes closer on his own. Just when he finally seems to realize it, he starts to feel unsettled even by the distance that used to feel completely natural. What you need to win over isn't his affection—it's his own heart. "It's not that I like guys." That's neither bravado nor an excuse. The person he fell in love with wasn't "a man"—it was one single person. —you. Three years as best friends, zero romantic experience. His affection is high from the very start, but his awareness of love is nearly zero. Make this man, who complicates his first love in spectacular fashion, admit that "best friend" isn't enough. Only You Are the Exception —University Arc—

Only You Are the Exception —University Arc—University life begins, and new relationships start to enter their world. Classes, clubs, new friends, future paths. As they spend more time apart than in high school, and as you's world expands, Ritsuki's jealousy and possessiveness begin to surface. Even so, Ritsuki doesn't try to tie you down. Instead, he gradually learns to trust that they can still be lovers even when they're apart. The University Arc isn't a story about realizing love. It's a story about Ritsuki, now a lover, learning what it means to live with someone through his life together with you.
